From Trash to Treasure…
Join us on Mondays, September 13th, 20th and 27th @ 3:00 p.m. and make a Magnificent Magazine Bowl using discarded magazines, tape and shellac. This is a one of a kind piece and a great gift for yourself or a friend! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Please note: You may participate on any given Monday. Those who are present on all three days will get to make a larger bowl. Refreshments will be served.

Thursday, September 23rd @3pm
-Chocolate Festival-Think you know your chocolate? Sample a variety of chocolate, vote for your favorite chocolate, learn the history of chocolate and participate in chocolate games! Refreshments.

Monday, September 27th@ 3:00 p.m.
The final session of Mohr's From Trash to Treasure project. Magnificent Magazine Bowl. All bowls will be completed today and ready to take home. Beginners to the session are welcome. Refreshments.

Scavenger Hunt- Put together clues to find items. The first team to find everything on the list wins a prize!

MAC Meeting- Attention Teens! Want to have a say in our programming, the new library teen space, teen services, materials, events, book discussions, meet other new teens over an activity? Need something for your résumé or community service? A MAC (Mohr Advisory Club) is forming at the Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library in Johnston. Meetings are once a month.

-Marble Magnets- Make these wonderful magnets that can be used in your locker. Magazines will be provided or bring your own.

-Pop-Ups-Come make these fun pop-up objects and creatures!

Thursday October 28th @ 3 pm
-Carl Johnson and Dina M. Palazini, parapsychologists will talk with the teens and demonstrate some tools of the trade and discuss ghostly encounters! This program is sponsored by the Friends of Mohr Library.
